5 Wrong Opinion About Caffein On Coffee

1. Caffeine causes dehydration
this is the most common myths about caffeine. Caffeine is considered could lead to dehydration. Yes, caffeine does have a diuretic effect making someone frequent urination. However this is not to make the person is dehydrated.

Because caffeine is usually found in drinks such as tea or coffee. Water levels in the drinks itself could counteract the dehydration effects of caffeine. A study by 2014 that got used to drinking coffee will make people resistant to the effects of dehydration are owned by caffeine.

2. Decaf really does contain caffeine
when I heard the word decaf, of course people hope that they will not contain drink caffeine at all. This is not true, because decaf coffee still contains less caffeine. This result is known through research conducted by observing 36 cups of coffee decaf. They found that some coffee still contain at least 20 milligrams of caffeine.

Of course the numbers are much less than with coffee containing caffeine. But it is certainly not that totally decaf does not contain caffeine. According to the Mayo Clinic, at least in one cup of regular coffee there will be 95 to 200 milligrams of caffeine. A 2006 study at the University of Florida found that people who drink five to 10 cups of decaf coffee could be drinking the same caffeine dose with a glass of regular coffee.

3.Caffeine can counteract the effects of alcohol
It is believed that a bath of cold water and drink caffeine after drinking alcohol will make a person remain conscious and able to ward off the effects of alcohol. This is simply not true. A study in 2009 showed that someone who is drinking caffeine after drinking alcohol are more vigilant, but they are still not completely conscious.

Those results were found when the researchers conducted experiments on mice. Mice given caffeine after alcohol is indeed more alert, but they still had trouble finding the way back in a maze compared to mice that were not given alcohol. The myth of this one is very important to uninstall because if actually carried out, drinking caffeine after drinking alcohol can harm health.

4.Just give the ill effects of caffeine
Caffeine can indeed give effect which is not good for the body, especially if consumed too much. Consuming caffeine in high doses can cause many problems. However, caffeine is not a thing that should be avoided in its entirety.

Caffeine also has a good side that can be used by many people. The research revealed that caffeine can lower the risks and symptoms of Parkinson's disease and can prevent Alzheimer 's. In addition, a little dose of caffeine can make you more alert and more energetic.

5.Caffeine is often found in some weight-loss products.
It can only trigger the myth that caffeine can help you lose weight. But surely this is not true. Caffeine is known to help boost your metabolism though only slightly, as revealed in research by 2010 in the International Journal of Obesity.

However, given the effects of caffeine are not large enough to be of help to lose weight significantly. Drink several glasses of coffee will not help you lose weight and ward off obesity. Especially if you are taking coffee mixed with cream and sugar.

That's some myths about caffeine that should begin to be removed and no longer trusted. Caffeine is not a thing that should be avoided because it has some benefits, but also should not be consumed in doses that are too high because of the effect that can be bad for your health.
